A Surprise Italian Baby shower!

So as the story goes - we were all getting together for Dinner at Farrah's favorite Italian Restaraunt. Its our monthly Ladies dinner. However, as Erica and I pulled up to meet everyone - they were trying to hide from us as they were all carrying large pastel baby bags! They were caught in the act!! Its a baby shower!
Who doesn't love a cute Italian waiter?!

The orchestrator - Thanks so much Farrah

Apples to Apples - Toss in some Margarittas and its the perfect 'night in'

A Kiss from a Frog prince

Wine - now this is a hospital bag essential!

Or maybe right now...

Diane is too sweet - look at all the energy bars indiviually cutified =) What were you doing last night?!?

Here is the wonderful group of ladies - Lindsay, Amy, Kelly, Erica, Helen, Kalisa, Diane (and Farrah is taking the photo) Plus the table decoration came all the way from Boston as my sister wanted to help out too!

This is from my mom - love the photo as it reminded her of maine and how I cannot sit still. Even if canoeing is essention. But the funniest part is her gift. A washing machine??? Guess no more luandry mat for me!

Since Erica has lived here for 3 years now - she was daring enough to go for the fish - head and all! Yum

Champagna+Baby Bottle = happy baby = Happy mommy! Even if it does say Tennessee

A Piggy Bank! Clark Howard would be so proud!

Thanks so much ladies - what a wonderful night and I felt so loved!! We even topped it off by going through Farrah's closet - (I think that was her favorite part!-great halloween customes - hehehe)

My Boys

I finally convinced my family to get outta the house and enjoy a walk. Of course half way through Chris asked me if we were walking or just lolly gagging since my pace these days is a bit Slower. But as soon as Chris put this hat on, Nick ran looking for his hat! Go Red Sox - they killed 'em tonight! So here is the 'New to us' ride. 2001 Audi A4 Silver station wagon. It surely isn't the Porsche Cayan that Chris dreamed about. But it gets better gas mileage =)
My little corn husker. He enjoyed the process, but not the corn so much

Nick is the first one to own a feast table. Chris is so envious! I bought it (unassembled of course) and Nick couldn't sleep until I attempted assembly. Needless to say, I gave it a good shot but left some of it for dad.

My persistant little builder

Success! Dinner at the table =) Dilly beans count for a vegetable right?? Good thing since Nick loves them. Thanks Oma Sue
Final Table construction
This playdate had 12 kids, 6 adults, but seriously, I lost track. Diane fed us all. This is a sweet picture of mother and daughter (we think they look so alike - especially when Macy graces us with a smile)
When its 91 in Germany where do you go - the pool! With EVERYONE else. Nick is the one with the cape on....The boys love to line up and 'the 'er rip' They kept waiting for an ambulance to drive by (not sure why, but I am sure they knew...)

More of Every day life

Just a few photos of life out here. Last night we trekked out to Stuttgart for Summer Fest. Surprisingly nothing like spring fest. Lots of food tents, great music and beautiful grass to sit on while the kids ran arround. This is Eve standing on a grate - illuminated.Nick investigating
Nick was tackled several times by his lady friends Eve and Anna.

This photo shows ultimate relaxation after a long day trying to register our 'new to me' car. We bought a 2001 Audi Station wagon (very german) but brings back memories of the 2001 Audi I bought here NEW just a few years ago (o.k.... almost 10 years ago...).

After traveling from the dealer to the inspector to the registration office and mis placing our title information - the next best thing was winding down with friends at the pool!

Shopping at the REAL. They say this is the closest to WAL-MART. Check out this escalator ramp. You take your shopping cart right up.... Awkward - but it works... Go Farrah, Tate and Macy! of course, the jeep -

Here is the fest in our Town of Neuhausen. Sunday night even included fireworks!

Can anyone read what that tie says...... Let me give you a hint, it doesn't say Happy Birthday Diane!

The merry go round and train was all a little munchkin needs right?!

We seemed to be an hour late all day - we were just about to head to the fest when mother nature opened up with a significant rain storm. Looks like Chris and Nick are still ready and willing to walk down there.

Who is enjoying the toy store more - Big boy or little boy??

This is the stroller brigade - we had a great day exploring Farrah's town. First a bakery

Yum - hot Chocolate and pretzels

German Potty break

Our little lady Macy - loving the bonet Bread management - goose feeding time
