Thanksgiving Part 2 - Liz and Robert's Wedding!!

Friday morning we were up, had some DELICIOUS crepes and went onto visit Grandma in her new digs at Thornton Oaks, in Brunswick ME.  She happily toured us through her building and room.  It was wonderful for the family to see her in her element and to know she will be comfortably happy here.
We divided up in cars and headed to Lewiston for the Wedding celebration.  Nick rode with Barbara while we headed and spied a pretty gorgeous sunset.
Liz hosted a perfectly suited rehearsal dinner at Baxter Brewery.  Nice to capture the siblings together.
Wonderful to see Robert with his kids - so thankful they came out.  They are a family of proud Aggies.  It was great to put the people with the stories we have heard about them.  Love the Bill Cosby sweater too - apparently Seth is wearing one of his Dad's classics.

Satruday morning I went for a brisk walk and decided I needed to go back and grab Drew.  He would love all these things.  He willingly came out with me to appreciate the display they have in the downtown.  We all remembered being here just a few years ago celebrating Wyland's life.
Love when city's do things like this.
It was a BEAUTIFUL crisp morning/day for her wedding.  Exactly the picturesque Maine November day, blanketed with some pretty snow for a back drop.  Made for some beautiful family captures and squinting eyes.
I adored seeing both Seb and Winslow looking for adult and stunning.

Managed to get a pretty wonderful family shot.  Chris is wearing his fathers engineer tie for the ceremony
Time for wedding photo and prep.  Just catching the kids in their elements.

Seniors!  Where will these 2 be next year?!?!

Love EVERYTHING about this photo.  The couple - committing to each other, the church, the kids both sides.  My heart is beyond happy for them all.
So many family members came out to support this couple in their next step together.
Look at this bunch!  What a treasure this photo is!
Beautiful as well - just super bright outside
Our dinner was just amazing - such a beautiful Maine spot, delicious cocktails too.  Love this kid table =)
We loved being able to celebrate with Liz and Robert and give them huge Kudos for putting this together.  It was a wonderful reason for the family to be together.

I even got to listed to the Michigan vs. OSU game and as the icing on the cake - WE WON!
Time to head home

Thanksgiving Part 1

Hold on tight, if you thought the fall was busy, these next 2 months are full!  Trying to get a few of our favorite things done as we move to other elements of the holiday season.  Nick rocked the 'putting up the lights with an adorable chilly helper.
Love this double date photo at the Briggs - I know they love having all element there for the holidays - word on the street, the kids made portions of the dinner!
Wednesday night the Wisneski's arrive - McCullough had already headed to TN to enjoy the holidays with Brian's family.  We have a pretty full crew to rock a rather dreary Turkey Trot

We dry up after the run and head to my sister's for Thanksgiving dinner - Clean up pretty quick right?  Thanks to my sister for hosting us all!
We watched the traditional planes trains and automobiles and enjoyed an evening all together.
It was sweet to get updates from Diane - This will be a memorable Thanksgiving as we opened our house to them hosting Wayne's family.  They had considered renting a VRBO, but with us gone, this just made sense.  Now Wayne and Diane can check the block in the hosting department! - Us Too - Next year the baton will surely get passed around =)

Diane did such a sweet job of truly expressing her appreciation, We came home to thoughtful Christmas decorations, a treasured wreath with thankyou notes from their family.  Not only are we thankful to be together as family - we were thankful to provide a place for another family to gather.
Truly is the thankful season.

Exploring NYC and the ARMY vs. Notre Dame game

Love that we ALL got tickets to the ARMY vs. ND game tonight!!

An adventure taking the train from Stamford - loved how folks seemed to welcome the Army Fans.
We arrvied in NYC without a huge plan.  We wanted to get some yummy food and do some exploring.  My family LOVES to walk.  I have ZERO sense of direction so I let Chris lead - right into the projects.  I am no stranger to affordable housing, but this did not feel safe.  We found some pizzas and than found ourselves and Uber outta there.
Over to Little Italy - it was fabulous seeing all the fans all over the place.  Here was our coffee chocolate stop before we head back for the game.
United with the MAYS!!  They were partying at Taco Bell!!  That may have been a better option!!
Here is the game time crew!  it was such a fun festive atmosphere!!  There were quite a few Army fans, but it was considered a ND home game.  ALL the jumbo tram viewings and highlights were for ND only.  They didn't even show Army fans.  It was an ND night though, they clearly won the game.  Kudos for Army for making them nervous going into the game!
Nice half time show by the band!
Super fun night - took the train back out and headed home.  Love that we could see such an epic game in NYC that easily!

Band concert

What a sweet surprise to sit down to the band concert and see our boy on the cover.  The showcased a handful or students coupling the sports and other activities they do while also being in the band.

Here they all are!
I had to zoom in on the French horn section.  Lucas Mainville is a sad replacement for the beautiful red head that used to sit there.
Post concert ice cream and we found out that Carvel is open later than Ben and Jerry's!
Love the neighborhood band crew!

Soccer Banquet Night

Soccer banquet night at the North House.  We put it together with the Coursey's, Bae, and Abbots,  A great evening to celebrate the dedication of the team.  Love that Chris started with the introduction of the freshman team.
Nick work Coach Leadbetter.  The boys are thankful you said yes to dedicating your time
So much for this night is about these seniors.  Love this catpure and thank you to the seniors for each speaking tonight.  That is the true treasure here is to hear what you value and what you will take away from your years on the field.
Love this capture of them watching on.
Pretty good looking sophomore class.
nice Leadbetter family capture.
These 2 have been playing together for years and looking forward to their years to come!
