Life is never dull for the Leadbetters - at least we would like to think so. Hope you enjoy keeping up with us as we grow as a family and tour Europe stumbling along the way

Who needs a Dishwasher anyway
Yup, the dishwasher is finally out. It was a great realization that our kids have NO IDEA how to really clean dishes. This was a great few weeks as we gathered around the sink - some washing, some drying and some putting away. We almost didn't want the dishwasher. O.k., we is an exaggeration. More like me, the kids were happy to see it! (until they melted a spatula in it - yikes right?)
After the dishwasher - off to the slopes for some bonus hours on a Thursday - Can you see these 2 bozos sword fighting. Thankful they have each other!

Chilly day in Florida
We were NOT prepared for the chill once we left the boat. We were SO thankful out weather was AMAZING every day we were there. This was an o.k. day to freeze. We put every layer on and took the party bus to the next spot. This was an awesome resort that honestly with the temps, made it a challenge to enjoy anything more than this mini put course.

We sat down for lunch here and Drew started his order with - for my appetizer I would like.... to which we reminded him - we aren't on the ship anymore.... Only a meal buddy. What a rude awakening!
Loved the title of this gym and that we all went together. Thank you family!
Now to head home. Stacie and Jason dropped us off at the airport for a late Friday night flight home. Plugging back into basketball and activities.
Cherished time - and now as I blog this being in Quarantine - we are so fortunate to have timed it when we did!

Disney Cruise Day 6 - Castaway Cay
Sure we will sign up for the 5K - but don't make us keep a schedule on vacation! Thankfully they let us run it when we got there. It was a toasty warm loop on the old runway. Thankful we did it together.
They even saved us some medals.
THIS is the day my dad was waiting for. He was on AT MIDNIGHT to be sure to reserve this cabana. The pinnacle of this vacation and his celebration gift. Truly a gift.
Well captured
Sodas again!! In love
This was the ultimate in relaxation.
Everywhere you look somewhere to lounge
Love this photo! #selfportrait
Wonder how long my folks could live here...
I am sure they wouldn't mind giving it a try.
Alright - lets get suited up.
Our little scientist is ready to take to the seas.
Snorkeling was great - Again these are stock photos as I didn't take my camera. Drew got spooked 1/2 way through and literally CLUNG to dad. Thankfully there were resting spots. But really thankfully was drew seeing Jackson rocking it to revive his confidence.

Sting rays, fish - treasures etc!
This guy wanted to be here ALL DAY! Can you blame him?
Lunch was delicious with great ice cream and the kids rocked the snorkels at our little beach. We tried to keep up with the sunscreen but that was the hardest part!
Must we all leave?
I think we need to leave this guy here just a bit longer. I will admit, this is MY FAVORITE photo. I shows his true relaxation after all the investing, planning, coordinating to make it all such a well enjoyed FAMILY trip. This right here made him happy in making all of us happy.
Love,
Some of us opted to walk back to the ship and enjoy the little things Disney does to make it awesome.
These guys rocked the tram!
Taking it all in.
Leave us here!
Anyone know where those ship cards are?
lucky little ones!
Well done towel man!
So glad I snapped a photo of our waitress. She was adorable and came up with great puzzles for the kiddos. These 2 bonded over their favorite character
always adorable!
While its sad that tomorrow is the last day and this well awaited vacation is behind us rather than in front off us. We can all say that we truly enjoyed it ALL!

Disney Cruise Day 5 - Day at Sea
Ahhh - a day at sea.
My Dad orchestrated this amazing brunch to celebrate with adults. The food was out of this world. So simple, so healthy and so well done. What a capstone event on this anniversary celebration. It really must be amazing to sit back after 50 years and really see what unfolded.

Cheers to the couple that started it all for us
Again - those simple sweet touches make for some beautiful smiles, pictures and memories.
While at brunch it was fun watching the kids check themselves in and out of kids club. Drew was the only one to stick it out and max out his screen time. The rest were happy to wander together. With a day at sea = lets get the hair braided!
Have a delicious cocktail
Load up on beers and score free coolers.
Sit IN the pool watch movies and turn into prunes! PERFECT!
Being at sea all day we thought it would be a good time to dress up. This beautiful couple came in their formal attire!
600 months ago! Really!
Love how these cuties clean up
First borns!
A beautiful sunset! Right out our window
Captured by the middle children
Now we paired them up for the on ship scavenger hunt.
These 2 went on BOTH hunts and were unable to be found for quite a bit... gave us parent MANY extra steps!
