Barbara Sold their house is a WHOPPING 12 hours - WOW and welcome to Northern Virginia - Now its time to move. Look at our calendars, Memorial Day was open and she had time too. So Barbara flew out to VA on Thursday hit the subway and was picked up by her neighbors tom.
We rolled the dice on traffic and headed to the McCulloughs.
Lets me honest, I am HORRIBLE at moving.
You never want me, you ALWAYS want chris. Thankfully the McCulloughs wanted me...We rolled in after a 9 hour drive in the car (this includes a RARE dinner break) and we were due to surprise Tate and Macy (a little pre Macy birthday celebration). So we quietly walked in and she called the kids up for dessert. As the came in Nick, Shane and Drew were at the table. However, there was an additional McCullough - and HIS name was BLAKE -
What??
And than there was DIANE! She surprised ME - do we love some Diane time. I was SO over the moon that we got to spend a few hours together. She sacrificed her sleep for it as they left for CT the next morning at 4AM YIKES
Love the raw excitement on my face - and I said I didn't like surprises.
3 hot mommas with 3 high buns
Chris headed to help his mom while we got to see SOLO in style
Farrah style
Recliners - nap time!
This is the summer feel at its BEST!
So fortunate we get to celebrate Macy's birthday a few days early - She is such a great girl - just girlie enough and not too much for the boys - Love seeing her rock the birthday spotlight. She too enjoys knowing its HER day and with us, she kinda gets 2!
Caption stolen from Ambra - friends don't let their men drink pink wine!
Wasn't even 8an yet
Barbara is doing SO much to complete this home and make sure the next owners love it and use it to its fullest. We are even putting the pergola screen on. I love that Farrah and Brian hop right into helping. Even on the edge of the railing. These are the kind of life friends I want to have!
These adorable smiles - I literally want to freeze time for these 2 - great age for them!
Probably the best breakfast I have ever had - Brian is AMAZING - beats any farm to table around.
In the zone
We took this photo right before we all parted ways - I felt like it was so all american. Love this family and love how they can really focus on what matters. Pjs and all.
Now to the true rock star of the weekend - Barbara - I honestly don't know how you do it. You have such clear ways you want things done. And there are SO many things with a move like this. You tackled them all so systematically. Your strength and focus amaze me and glad we could help in some small ways.
Thankful we could at least be there for hugs and to have a little time with you
Look what almost beat us home - #zappos!
