Annual Post Thanksgiving Football game

Back at home with a hefty holiday prep list.  But first some sunny window snuggles.
Then, some Christmas tree selection.  Didn't take us long at all.  We are getting to be selector pros.
2 trees, one for us, one for my folks.
Ready for the Michigan vs. OSU game - on the couch and focused on the team.
Boys conducted the game time prep

Guess what?!?!  It was a Michigan win!  Let the games begin!
Guess they are starting right here in the living room.  Love that JJ is on the TV
Now onto the technical set up.
Someone else seems to like mom's bird watching seat too.
Great night on the football field!  Lots of friends, parents, food and fun.  Tis that time of year again!

How do they know which way we are going?!?

Loved the chill snuggle time and getting to connect with Mary
Jimmy rocked the delicious and VERY healthy sweet potato casserole.  I had to take a photo of how beautiful it was before we all dug in!
Our favorite shot of the evening!
Look who made an appearance one morning

Thankful for the weekend with everyone under one roof!!!  So much to be thankful for!

Seriously, how handsome is this guy?  Please note the shoes - they are Chris's, but he is convinced they belong to ME!  He LOVES how pointy they are (sarcasm)

Veteran's day tattoo and stuff

This is the last soccer game of the season - In Old Saybrooke against Old SayBrooke.  It was a VERY close game that because under ref dispute.  The crwod got a little lippy (to include our crowd) it was a bummer way to end the season.  But the season is over and it is just heart breaking to see the season just end like that for the seniors.  It was quite the BIG dedicated class.  The Juniors (Nick, Tate, Logan and Ryan) have some BIG shoes to fill.
I know this guy is ready - Love this social media post of him.
I popped by the Brinks house under construction in Old Saybrooke on my way home.  I love seeing the foundation start to go in.  Love thinking about this house full of family and kids in the years to come.
Next up - Veteran's Day tattoo morning.  Loved getting up and enjoying the morning in the tattoo chair.  Coupled with beautiful classical music, I could sit there all day.  It only took a few hours.  Then we went out to lunch together.  Happy Veterans Day!  I do miss the yearly call from Wyland Jr.
Went from lunch to the lake house - Took my sister's crew out to see it.  Maddie was the only one adventurous enough to join me on the chilly kayak.  Riley opted to warm up in the car.  We went onto Marzano's for dinner bringing a bit home to my fam.
Best representation of my new tattoo.  I am wondering how long I will wake up surprising myself with it!
Here is my inspiration for color to add onto the next appointment - yes, there is a NEXT appointment!
Sunday turkey meal box filling day - fabulous and fun volunteer event.  Felt almost like a supermarket sweep.

Warren Miller comes early - or at least it feels that way.

Its the kickoff to the ski season!!  The Warren Miller film at the Bushnell.  We were headed down with the Briggs but Rebecca was a bit under the weather, so solo we go.  Fabulous restaurant in Hartford.  Fire by forge

More of a training restaurant.  LOVED the vegie cut soup.  Its how they train to cut veggies and it was delicious!
We waltzed in late (thankfully because we heard the show was delayed.  Grabbed some great seats but look who we were right behind?!  How funny is that?  WE ended up moving, but I busted laughing, what are the changes we like the same seats?!  Love these kids.

The project continues.

It is THIS VIEW that we need to focus around.  What is so grounding about it all.  Yes, the project continues.
Toilet and vanity are in
And now for the toilet paper holder.  Proof that sometimes you just never know what is best.  Mary was there when the contractor was rocking the final touches. and he asked about how to install.  She sent me a photo - upside down.

Of course, I just couldn't resist these photos. and Chris followed up commiserating on how he does projects and I always find something.  Well, we purchased 3 different TP holders for our one bathroom - the toilet and the TP holder are going to be a thing for sure!
