Trick or Treating

Ah the beauty of a fall day in Canton.  Love colors like this.  Snapped it real quick as I was leaving the kiddos lunch bunch.

Monday Night trick or treating with this motley crew.  So I can remember later - Nick is a chicken, Drew is Tom Brady and Shane is a crazy Alien - Derek and Odem joined us for our rounds too.

We got a Jedi in here too - Such a perfect night to hit the neighborhood. 

Even a storm trooper appearance!

Came back after going through just our neighborhood.  Our neighbors are so sweet they give us TOO much candy and even save the big candy bars for the kiddos.  Not necessary!  Seriously =)!  The boys were great.  Binged for a bit and than gave it away.  Love that.

To make matters more challenging

Chris and I had just finished the Whole 30 diet.  It was great and we felt great.  But there really isn't candy on the Whole 30.  I was LOOKING forward to halloween and being able to enjoy candy.  Guess who didn't have a single piece?!?!?

Oh yeah - and the chickens are no longer allowed on the deck any more - just cant control that whole pooping thing.

I only had a few games and am literally THRILLED that folks wanted to play them.  Outside was trapping the spider in the web - inside the heart on the skeleton

Soccer Time

Fall means soccer and with 3 boys, this means schedule time.  Chris coached Shane's rec league, Nick's Rowdies travel time had a stellar season and Drew rocked the MLS league.  I could barely maintain the schedule -

Taking up the entire path

This is personal my favorite - love this casual, just be together family.  Cannot believe how far we have ALL come.  the experiences together, how much the cousins can just hang out and saying grace around the table all together - those are just a few of my favorite things.

Okemo in the Fall

Its great to have friends who do cool stuff.  And this right here is one of those times.  Fall can be so busy with soccer schedules that is great when someone has the vision to take the off weekend to hit the MTN bike trails of Okemo.  The fall trees are almost as beautiful as this guys smile!

I wish I had taken more photos, with the Izzos and Tuckers.  We made the most of the beautiful Saturday seeing that Sunday could be a wash (and it was....).  The set up was pretty awesome, bikes get carried to the top on the back of the lift, you ride on a different chair.

Oktoberfest

When your friend have an Oktoberfest party, you bust it all out.  There were the only 2 I could capture.  Love Nick's hat

Of course the girls posed for a photo.  Noted that my mom wore my exact outfit just a few years ago =)!

The beer was great, the friends were welcoming and we all had a great night - Leadbetter in particular remembering life just a few miles away.

Drew's Birthday, He is 6!

In just a few short days we got to celebrate another birthday!  Drew is 6 and we can hardly believe it.  With each year he gets smarter and smarter and more independent.  

This year he had a few buddies over the a ninja warrior obstacle course.  Good luck pulling Nick.  He sure is dead weight!

WE had a pretty sweet course orchestrated, however the biggest attraction was the trampoline.  Shocking.

Love seeing my mom in these photos and so glad to have her help and presence during events like these.  That is one smiling birthday boy!

Happy Birthday Shane!! 8 is great!

The sweetest little hugger ever is 8! I wish you were still wrapping your chubby little arm around us each morning when you wake up.  You are still such a simple sweet boy -  

So here is his party - while I have always said you can invite to 'how old' you are.  somehow we exceeded 8 - by 1 - not too bad.  We designed a scavenger hunt for the boys throughout the neighborhood.  I honestly had no idea who long it would take them.

The night ended with WAY too many boys on the trampoline and a fire pit for more making.  Shane felt the love all night long!
