Like white table clothes in a table with 4 boys - how long did it last or how long was I accepting of the less than perfect appearance after this photo -
Like his beauty in being proud of his writing.  While I knew he wanted to see Oma Sue there, I was thankful he was actually excited to see me there.  Standing next to a favorite friend who let me off the hook for maybe not making it there (and we were both right on time -  - 5 minutes late - takes one to know one!).
I would consider this a beautiful challenge.  He honestly wishes he could do this more often

And he wasn't a girl anymore

Remember when we got 2 chickens back in August?
One named Vivian and one named Meadow?
Well it turns out Meadow is a boy - meaning a Rooster.
That's right, she just kept right on growing.  Finally we looked out and thought - - - hmm something is different about that one.
And than, she started speaking - crowing really.  O.k. cocka doodle doing.  LOUDER AND LOUDER AND LOUDER.

Her name isn't Meadow anymore.  HIS name is Big Jim.
He is beautiful, BIG and Loud.  Pretty nice guy and take care of all his girls - especially Vivian.  He shoos them back inside when he is worried (or to make Trudy mad)
When i go for a walk in the neighborhood in the morning - I can absolutely hear him.  Guessing the neighbors can too.  I asked our close neighbors and they seem to be o.k. with him.
The one with the biggest complainers is laying in the bed next to me claiming he can sleep through anything - but Big Jim!

Fun with friends

Something about seeing these kiddos all cute and unique just warms my heart a bit - they each took the court against their teachers for the student teacher basketball game.  I hear Shane blushed a bit when blocking his teacher Mrs. McKay -
When a bunch of kids get together to celebrate Christian's birthday - sports and fun for all.

A special trip for this crew

early morning for these 2 as we get to head to Florida - a special gift and some special time with my folks.  What a treat for one grand kid from each family.  Nick and I started our morning early and enjoyed a McDs at the airport - hot chocolate and all.
The flight was non-stop - however on Southwest the seat assignments come to those who are early on the check in (which I am not) so Nick settled into the back being thankful I wasn't monitoring his screen time  - while I score a fabulous spot next to 2 guys heading to a golfing trip and ready to start the party!  They were hysterical and I have now officially enjoyed blue label.

My folks picked us up all healthy and sunny and took us to an AMAZING restaurant with the most delicious shrimp tacos!  The weather was amazing and it felt so good to be with them.
We had a beautiful walk on the beach and I let Nick drive the camera.
Loved seeing him get excited by the creations
We walk ed the hole point and grabbed some shells along the way.
Doesn't look like I will be taking this drift wood home - yet happy to have the photo!
Look at the sunset from their condo - yes, every night - beautiful
Nothing says comfortable like a wagon seat.
We rocked a Euchre game (ask my mom about the shell cards!!)
Than took a quick snooze before my dad and I went to pick up Stosh and Madison for round 2 - 111:30 PM flight - yikes!
Saturday morning we joined my mom for her water aerobic class - adorable group of ladies!  Nice of them to let us join.  Great class, I just want to change the recording.  I asked Nick to discreetly take a photo - kinda cute right??
Meanwhile this guy roller bladed every chance he got (on his brother's roller blades - we will deal with that later)
Now lets load up and head to the beach for some true chilling
Think we got everything?
Freshly painted seaside
Sunscreen up
Photos by Nick!

Adorbs
A special recreation - 11 years later!
Time to head back for our late lunch
Beach babes!

Can anyone find the lizard?  Our science teacher can.  And fun fact - her lizard Iris had babies!!  The egg will hatch in 70 days.  Coolest thing ever!
My folks took us to the Island cow - one of their favorite spots and a great place to read everything!
My favorite thing to read!
Guess this guy stayed a little too long
I need this!
The one for Chris
Look at this beautiful company!  Such happy faces all weekend long.
Cows and all!
That rope is NOT coming out of that tree!
We kept going that night to see the sunset and it was well worth it.
I may need to remember my mom stealing my Asti - Loved it mom!!  I owe you one and know how you love your Asti!
love watching the sunset knowing what an awesome day it was - well lived.
Not the picture I was going for, but sums it up.

Sunday was a little rainer and WINDY - but that didn't stop us - Margaritas and swimming.

Love that My sister is up for anything - from 10 minutes of Yoga to a little line dancing!
Delicious dinners
Yum Yum little one!
We popped into the Brinks and walked through the birds

Made it home to watch the game and quite possibly the best TV ever.  Needless to say, we don't vacation here for the WIFI and TV - its a good reminder.
Seeing the Pats win was a MUST.
All day we were getting calls and texts from the dads - worth weather in CT and MA EVER - I will spare you the photos of the grossness.  But I want to remember my sister requesting Jason to turn on the camera - I want to watching you shovel!!  Where is my emoji for that?!?!
I prefer this Murphy Bed with my sister!!
Here is our last morning

Gotta love how Nick was on my same morning page.  The pool was great therapy for my busted up leg.

Now back to a rude awakening - Our car had been shoveled off, but not de-iced.  Surely one to remember right Nick??
Needless to say, he helped, but without gloves and boots - not for long!
Huge thank you to my parents for recognizing what a beautiful memory a trip like that is for us and a kiddo.  its wonderful to see them walking every day, meeting new friends and feeling revived!  Life as they have earned.  Beautifully done all and thank you for sharing it with us!
