We swapped out cousins! The ones from MA left and the ones from TX flew in! Loved having a full house and getting them with us for a week. First night pasta sampler from New England pasta company - kudos to Chris's final iteration of soccer coaches' gifts.
Cousin catch up time. Adding Seb to the mix even's out the knee hockey teams. Adding Winslow to the mix is a win for me!
We had a little something planned every day. Sunday was a hike to Sundown
It was nice and brisk if you can tell by the attire. Long way up, short way down. Kids are awesome and adults did quite well too.
We made it to the summit and a favorite view for our family.
Love that Robert captured these 3 together.
This is a favorite for sure! Looking at Nicks hat from 2010 is cracking me up!
It sure was windy at the top - time to get back in the tree line to warm up!
Love this photo of grandma being a kid again!
Next up to warm up with wings and drinks at the Riverton Inn. We were thinking the old style in would have just enough warmth and cozy for our chilly tire bones and just enough meat for the crew.
Sunday became rather full when my boss gifted us pretty sweet tickets to the UCONN game.

We decided the crew that needed to be front row MUST include OMA SUE!
Drew made it his personal mission to get on the jumbo tran - and can you imagine? He made it? This video is hilarious from all perspectives, Drew's Winslow filming, his brother's and cousins reactions. I just love it.
Back at home chilling together.
Monday Liz and Robert headed to a NYC adventure! SO perfect. They had great sites to see and explore. We went back to work and school (BORING!) but Vesta put together a Thanksgiving feast that I captured here. One of the many things to love about Thanksgiving - gathering together. Great execution!!
Can you imagine the dinner conversation slightly different over here?
Now onto THANKSGIVING morning - time to earn the turkey with a turkey trot! The cousins dressed up as it often the theme. It wasn't as chilly that morning so it was nice to have the costumes initially, but got a little toasty toward the end of the run. Needless to say = we represented!

Dogs, kids, adults, bloody mary's??
Captured by the 5K race photo folks!
The sweaty supportive finish line
Time to prep the feast - getting ull involvement is a favorite of mine!
Can you see everyone in shorts and a little fire pit too?! The day was absolutely perfect!
prepping the final pieces of the table
You know how much I love this full table photo. HUGE thank you to Robert and Liz for bringing everyone out this holiday season. We were blessed to be able to host you and are very thankful for the time together. It's no easy feat getting everyone out here - but the time together is surely worth it. While I know my folks would prefer to be in Florida, we are VERY thankful they were here with us this weekend.
The table is maxed and that equates to being BLESSED and THANKFUL! Love you all!
