Tate's Final weekend before COLLEGE!

Lobster fest 2024 - I promised Tara I would volunteer if I could - thankfully time allowed for me to pop in for a few hours.  They are like machines!!  Over a thousand lobsters come on through, TONS of butter, and corn too.
Meanwhile this guy snagged another lobster and got to hang at the fest for a bit
The ladies considering the dance floor??
Shane couldn't wait to get home to do this - Lots of this
Tell me wearing the bike helmet in the house while making lunch is totally normal right?
This is the final foursome on the morning Tate moves in
Thankfully he isn't going too far away.  Hugs for this BIG step for Tate!

Lobster day and Hello Sporty Sorento

Remember the post where we said goodbye to the Acadia, well without must communication at all.....  5 days later Brian and Chris saw this guy driving along 44 - It had to be ours!!
The sporty Sorento is coming home.
Pool Volleyball!! A favorite for me - brings be back to the High school days.  Thrilled to have ALL the McCullloughs in the water
Kids vs Adults - can you believe the kids beat us?!?
Rein acted lobster photo from Summer 2015!
Thankful for the everyday normal days with Farrah right here!
One delicious table
At the end of our super fun night, Mr. Nick said a teary eyed goodbye to Ashley as she starts her next Chapter at CU Boulder.  How sweet of our crew to welcome him home.  We had been missing him over the passed few days when he was trying to pack in every last minute.

Saying Good-bye to the Acadia

This car was the first after our mini van.  it was sporter, fit our whole crew.  Rugged and a darn cool color.  Biggest draw back about her was the GAS mileage.  With so many work projects for me here in CT I am in the car a TON.  Time for something more fuel efficient.  We loved you MS Acadia.
It all happened so fast, we bought a plug in Kia Sorento from Car Guru.  The car is in Indiana, they picked up this one in CT to bring to Indiana.  We are down to 2 cars until the 'new to me' one makes it here!

Back to Blended family!!

After all their summer travel our besties were head back to us!  Drew and I rocked this sign to officially bring them back home.
Love everything about this full table and everyone back together.  It was wonderful hearing their stories as they traveled from VA, to California, TN back through WVA and now back to us.  It amazes me all the different family member and good friends they made a priority to spend time with.  They really are professional travelers.  Just so very thankful they will be back with us (and not terribly interested in traveling for a bit!)

Funniest Shane ever! At riverside golf. A day in the life of these 3 boys

We had a family night to go mini put at Riverside.  I will say I CRUSHED the first 6 holes and Shane was kinda blowing up.  He gets to the water hole and totally messes it up launching his ball over the hump, than another bad shot.  Next he was goofing around along the edge of the water feature until all of a sudden he tips over going FACE FIRST almost NO HANDS into the water.
We all LOST IT.
hysterical.
Shane brushed it off and dialed it in.  He didn't Win (we left that to Nick) but he sure did not finish last.  I hope to remember this forever!!  Boy do I love this kid for so many reasons.
Drew and Rocco got a treat day headed to Susie Smiths house for some crabbing.
Check out Mr. Short hair!  He lost a bet to Michael Archangelo and part of that bet was losing his hair.  Mike offered to wait until closer to Ashley's departure.  Turns out he really likes the shorter cut.  It does suit him.

Litchfield hills ride!

Leadbetter 2nd Annual Litchfield ride.  We are really growing to LOVE this ride.  This year was just perfect, warm, but the sun was behind a haze the entire time.  It was awesome.  We opted for the 55 miler.
Here we are at the starting line.   The sky looked like this the whole time which was a BLESSING.  The route was really AMAZING.  IT felt like we rode through wildly different states and topography.  Some great hills, beautiful forests, and adorable towns and country side.  Truly a favorite ride.
I am thankful we went longer than the 35 miles of last year.  Will admit to being rather tired by 55!
Here's to us!
