Last minute Easter egg hunt in the hood.  Of course we get a bit of rain.
Love my sweet little (big) helpers!
He is super excited!
But not as excited as the easter wiener?!?!
Love that these kiddos are still pumped to hunt!
Pretty spectacular group.
Here are the hunter master minds - Kudos to Kelly for hosting us

Spring break here we come!

I mean  - Here Nick GOES - this fat cat is headed to Spain and Italy for the school sponsored spring break trip.
21 kids to include his good buddies Michael, Christian and Tate
Here they all are.  They took at least one group photo daily - LOVED getting the photos and you will see them throughout this post
Meanwhile, we needed to escape and headed to the airport enroute to see my folks down in Sanibel Island!
First day for them looked a bit rainy, but didn't see to impact the smiles
Our first day looked a bit different.  love that this is right out my folks window
Trying out the juicer to Oma sue
Boys did a great job of crushing the golf courses -
1st Shell Point
2nd Fort Myers country club
Nice family sunset photo.  It was great seeing my folks settled in their new Nutmeg community.  Sweet little spot, friendly unique neighbors that are happy to contribute to the success of the organization.  Seems like a lovely fit for them.
Meanwhile in Spain
Loved waking up to getting photos like this and knowing he was crushing the exploration

Not a bad way to wake up.
Chris and I rented bikes and we LOVED it biking most mornings.
Our goal was to make it out to Captiva.  Sad to see some of the houses looking like this.  Likely never to be rebuilt due to changes to the permit requirements.
A little drive through Ding Darling to try out the fishing.  The is a type of Gar caught by Drewman
\Not sure what Shane is catching in this photo, looks like brush to me.
We took a boat of or Tarpon bay for the afternoon.  There was some fish and some napping for some.
Love seeing these faces

Not a bad way to wake up
Met the boys after their golf round.  My mom and I toured the furniture shops crushing some fun selections.
We enjoyed the sunsets, but I got very interested in the moon rising
This was a FULL pink moon.  Almost looked like the sun.  So big!
Had to it a round a Pop Golf
That sure it the Trevi Fountain!

Nick continues his travels and we get a little used to traveling just the 4 of us (sniff sniff)
We head back home to get re-engaged in the real life.

Really love that we had time to get away - thanks to my folks for hosting us!

Mega MTN bike exploring

Another dreary Sunday that we filled with a pretty fab extreme MTB trail.  These features were put together by Asa and the 202 crew.  Drew got to help with the final sign install.
Loved the feeling of just being in the landscaping.
#neverwillIever!

Here is the crew!
Again, never will I ever
The beauty!

My Roomie comes to visit

Its been since The Leadbetters lived in Brambleton circa 2013 that we saw each other last.  Kids have gotten bigger but surely we don't look any older.  I was thrilled when she said they were coming through our way on the way to a family vacation in Jay Peak.
She didn't want to impose her 'rowdy bunch of 7' as she stated.  I asked where the heck did #7 come from.  Well of course Steph has an exchange student from Germany!!  WILD!
Drew crushed the entertainment for Bryce and Brendan from shooting off rockets to playing the wii, these 2 otherwise reluctant twins said they loved it and invited us to visit their house some day!
Brian orchestrated a game of family feud (the L's, Leadbetters and Ly's)  Vs. the M's (McCulloughs and Mosers)  can you believe Ruby even opted to join this group!  So thankful Farrah asked us to take a photo
This visit wasn't long, but boy it sure felt good!
Loved Jesse's enthusiasm, purple polish toes and how we all surprised Liz for her birthday!  Lights off and all!
