April 15

No photos to report - successes of the day - With Drew's new FortNite account, he has PLENTY.  Not sure if that is a success in our books, but the joy of hearing other kids voices in our home is true joy.  Thank you Barbers, Briggs and McCullough.

We hiked the Tom Perry and Sun Wind and Woodlands trails today.

During which we saw a buddy for each hiker!!  Right off the bat we ran into Beth and Ben Vrabel!!  It was wonderfully awkward to see her and while I wanted to rush up and give her a hug we just smiles and said hi!  A few steps later Drew recognizes Hailey a classmate.  By the end of the hike, Shane runs into Liam - #success!!

Corn Bread Shane

The boy wanted corn bread and I gotta admit, he did a great job making it!  Even outsource corn starch from the neighbors.

Easter Egg hunt

Baby Belle created her own little Easter egg hunt.  She lays 'green' eggs, so its easy to be 'onto; her when you dont see any in the nesting box.  I sent Nick looking for her spot.  He found it, can you see it?
She is a sweet little chick, so it hard to be mad at her for her craziness.  I guess she just needs a little alone time.
Can you see them now?  Happy Easter!
Official egg hunt sheet.  Thanks neighbors for participating!

Easter

Delicious Easter Dinner!  Resurrection rolls, Lamp and asparagus - smallest Easter table we have had - thankful my folks popped by for an outdoor visit.
For church we curled up at night to watch the sunrise service filmed in Austin Texas.  This year we could do Easter service anywhere and choose Jen Hatmaker's church in Austin.  Loved being curled up together.

Prepping for Easter

What does Easter weekend look like on Quarantine?  First, instead of the neighborhood candy filled Easter eggs (a tradition I was FINE with abandoning) neighbors decorated printed eggs and hid them visible from the street.  Kids did a walk through the hood seeing who got the closest to accurate count.  So that is the prep.  Here is the Saturday right before.

Town of Canton orchestrated a Easter bunny fire engine run.  It was a smattering of Instagram updates tracking his progress through Canton til he rolled through our street.
scootering down the long driveway in search of 'eggs'
Easter egg hike through the woods with buddies.
NOt the most socially distanced photos - but lets face it, these guys are quarantining together.
While this is an adorable photo of Drew, can you see who is walking up the street behind him?  Yup, the Easter bunny actually LIVES in our neighborhood.  He strolled through the hood tossing out toilet paper and chocolate bars!
See him back there?
Catching a wave with the ladies
And how fitting - Chicks for Easter.  Yes, we will add 6 baby girls to our coop.  Well timed pet raising.
He loves the time with him chicks.... these chicks....

Eggs Beer and Friends

Of course we should Dye eggs on quarantine.  Shane was the most devoted participant.  He made some creative ones with some you tube tips
Chris received a special delivery from our favorite people.  While the beer is pretty good, I gotta admit, its the mountain biking we really love.
Time for Happy Hour with the Mays and catching up on like just a few miles away.  Love that we went out to actual drinks with them the weekend before this whole quarantine thing start.  Thankful for all those days we did seize!  Like the Ipad stand.  Yup, we do too.

April 8 Goomba's Birthday

We snuck over on the rainy morning to hang this up.  After talking about being married for 600 months we thought the months were appropriate.
He isn't in a very high traffic area, so a few honks is doing pretty darn good!
Drew's first virtual counseling session was at 5 and we picked up dinner for the birthday boy at 5:30 - so counseling was done in the car.

Dinner from Millwrights - a little exploring in the yard.  I know my dad loved seeing and hearing the activity.
Happy Birthday Goomba - socially distanced and all.
