Looks like we are getting the golf course all set up.  Putting green under Chris's car, driving range in front of my car

love the full family and that my sister's family is in town for the weekend!  Best gift!

The next day was a surprise Master's golf party - complete with the master's snack box that includes egg salad pimento cheese, delicious chips and an assortment of decoctive swag like napkins and cups!

The boys finished the day with a 9-hole game at Wintonbury.  I walked with them while they golfed.  I can appreciate why Nick loves the course so much--and the game of golf.

Scored the perfect swing - color chosen by Drew - fits perfectly and swings just enough.  Almost a rocker.

Quote from Tom - we need to find some younger friends!  In truth, this guy makes 50 look like the new 20.  He is the first one to sign up to do Epic shit - matter of fact I think he is the creator of that term!  Rebecca did a rather epic job orchestrating a SURPRISE party for him.  Puente, Ben Gawitt to sign countless friends locally and family from CO to NY from school and etc  Rebecca did an AMAZING job coordinating and not saying ANYTHING - until the ride over there - minor slip up but not noticed.  Boy was he surprised.  SHOTSKI from the Moys was EPIC

How blessed to spend the evening celebrating Asa - watching him sing along with Ben and lavish in looking around and being loved by so many!!  Great job Rebecca!

 

He has his license and is getting Braces off!

Right after we came home from Montana, I got to take Nick to get his license - took the whole morning as they were backed up.  Nick was confident and did great on the test.  We got home and he was able to feel the first moments of freedom as we grabbed the truck and headed to school.  

Next monumental activity for this fabulous kid is braces off!  2 years of straightening, widening etc. The most annoying part owas the mouth guard he has to wear for wrestling.

He drove to the appointment BY HIMSELF and let me drive by to catch this selfie!

My folks escaped to FL for their anniversary.  They got to check in on their condo and enjoy the warm sun on their skin

I opted out of the Newport basketball tournament with Drew and opted INTO the St. Patty's Day party with Acoustic Marsh pit at Legitimus.

Saturday night we had Nick's wrestling banquet.  Coach Bristol put it on at the Lion club where he is a member.  He cooked and we all brought sides.  Loved the casual closeness of the team.  Love how much nick enjoys the many aspects of this sport - Kudos to him for making states, AND most improved for the team!!

Chris finally pulled the trigger, and we bought a fuel-efficient vehicle.  Must Rav4s have 60-year-old women behind the wheel - but this cool one has a darn good looking guy saving money in gas!

Go get them honey!  Great car and fabulous gas milage!

Big Ski Montana

Our next adventure you ask?  Big sky Montana!  The Izzo's go every year and adore the chill vibe of the mountain.  This year they let us join them.  Here we are on the first leg of the trip - Chris and I got a surprise upgrade.  First class and perfect to go back to sleep!

I was a bit nervous going into this trip - these guys are adventure seekers and I was a bit nervous there would be times it would be over my head.  Something about this sign epitomizes that.  Yes I made it down, no I didn't do it again.

This dinner was AMAZING  

beautiful little lighted trees in the parking lot.

We were doing what felt like back country skiing lapping trails that had tons of fresh powder.  This was our meal stop in a yurt far out on the mountain.  It was a welcomed stop and the chili was delicious!
