Superbowl

That evening we hosted Superbowl and had a house full with the projector outside. I barely have a photo but want to remember it was great!  Love the trivia games and loved the full house.  Love the teens gathering outside, love the grandparents winning the trivia.  Love the squares and even didn't mind the clean up.  I don't remember a thing about the game - just loved being together!
Headed to DC and Nichole gifted me this shirt.  Hmm?  Compliment?  Maybe a bit of sarcasm?  NIce to be thought of right?
The people I meet and get to work with are the best part of my job.
Taking in my last moments with this sweet thing!  We head out to Montreal, and he heads to the wrestling state tournament in Killingly.  After the tournament is over Nick will run the amazing race, getting to the airport, flying to Canada (with a connection!)  than an uber or bus to Montreal.  I adore his confidence!  Both in the tournament and his travels.

February

Date night with my Stich Fix man!
He is rather adorable and we do love the green tamborine!
Senior night in Canton.  Why am I already dreading this?!?!

Lets go see if we can find snow again - Stratton bond!
We even managed to find some of our favorite people!
Litle bit of ice combine with a busted binding equals boot skiing at its finest

Best lift ever - full of bellie laughs
No line gondola
Of course I will bleach your hair!
Pretty willing patient!
Great photo of the crew
In the finals round again!
This time he comes home with 1st!!
adorbs as always!

January fun stuff

Trying to keep up and post some of our favorite moments of January.  Love Shane's desire and ability to put this together.  It always amazes me the things that grab his attention.  This was Drew Christmas gift that was clearly a bit above his ability.
The wrestling team grew this season - I would like to attribute a portion of that to Nick's cheerleading - although he would hate that I reference his enthusiasm that way.  He wasn't the only one from his class anymore.
Never gets old.  Love their snuggles.
This was Canton's chance to host, and nick did AMZING!  Loved watching him come out for the final match against this guy.  Of course, based on how they are standing you know he took second - but man he was great!  Way to represent for Canton!
It just feels good to walk in the woods.  We managed to get these guys out to do exactly that.
While I see this photo as continued progress in the deck, Chris may see it as opportunities to clear out my piles underneath.
Got the set up - now hoping for a snow storm - anytime please!
Nick was on the model UN crew.  One of the learning opportunities with the school was to Yale University!  He had a great time and was even able to leave a day early to compete in his wrestling match.  I do appreciate watching him seem to juggle everything so well.
Another walk in the woods - this time, with the boys and ladies

Tried to capture both dogs!!
My folks do a great job of attending and figuring out the whole meet thing too.  GO NICK!
We haven't had much snow at all - but figured we had to at least see what the sloes look like.  And try to get out of ski pass purgatory.  Most expensive ski season on record - we will do better!
Stratton - time to hit the slopes.
They do have snow out here.  It was nice to be around winter for the day.  Winter, we sure do miss you.
Meanwhile - kudos to etsy and some cute little greenery!
This is the next room up for a redesign.  Liking the mantel - but time to change it all up!
Another successful tournament for the crew!
These boys were in charge of making brownies for the Superbowl - Love watching them figure this stuff out -

Now to exploring and New Years

We headed home via Innsbruck and Garmish thinking we could swing through a Weihnachten market and swing through an Austrian town.  These 3....  too funny
Can you spot the ski bums hats that are all the rage in Innsbruck?  I see 3!
We HAD to see at least 1 castle, right?  Ambras castle was enroute so we popped in.  Who knew they had peacocks running wild on the grounds.  Love this selfie Drew took with them.
Drew photo - he and Sarah were the only ones trying to get that close!
yes - this is NOT a statue!
Peacock stalkers!
Rather ornate castle
Full display!
Next up, the Mays and The Leadbetter's made it in the Bayern Munich stadium gift shop minutes before they closed the doors!  Cool reading about the history and walking through and among the displays
Made it to Munich - checked into our Aloft hotel.  Chris and I walked with the kiddos to the Hofbrau Haus while the rest of the adults grabbed an uber.  It was a bit drizzly - but their uber was a bit smokey - so I think we got the best end of that stick!  Glockenspiel preview!
20-minute wait IF THAT for a table at the famous place!
Schweinhaxe and beer for all the men
Drew was getting artistic with his photo taking
Someone may need a re-fill!

Any german's in this photo?  I spy a confident Nick!
Next day was exploring the English gardens.  The weather was unseasonably warm (tough for the pack job that we did - this includes Chris's winter boots being his only shoes.... no stores open to buy new ones!)
We found the surfing and enjoyed the beers and meals in the gardens
Frankie headed to recoup the pfand!
Mary was sweet talking to Drew about crepes and managed to find one on the way back to the hotel!
Meanwhile Rebecca and I got a bit lost trying to find Chris.  She eventually headed back to the hotel while somehow, I a managed to find him - or rather he found me!
Changing gears and getting dressed up for New year's!  The kids went to Doners while we ate at the nearby Italian restaurant
The May's had an early morning flight New Years Day and the Briggs were exhausted and opted out of the fireworks (we may tease them about this for years to come) so Chris and I took them out.  Love the below videos they captured.  Still amazes me that this kind of mahiem goes on.

Just a bit of walking the streets the next morning before we had to pack everything up and head home.  Nick figured out how to use the scooter system although there were certain spots in the city that you just couldn't drive it.  It was fun for the crew as you can imagine.
Rubbing the nose of the wild bore - All shops were closed for New years day!
Yes, all good things do come to an end - we boarded the flight and headed back...... booo
European fuzzball rules!
Love love love that this trip happened.  Love the memories, love the adventure - love the family and friends!
