Love my Diane Time

Wednesday night the Wisneski's arrive!

They actually meet us at Nick and Shane's swim meet in Farmington - they have never seen a swim meet before and the boys blushed bit thinking their pals would get to see them in action - cool start to the visit.  Than a low key picnic at Mills Pond and a bit of time in the pool to cap off our first night together.

One of the MANY reasons we love our time with the Wisneski's as they instantly become part of the family - the kids play incredibly well together and the moms live a sweet life - no pun intended with all this ice cream in the first photo
Doing every day life is just better - matter of fact, the first morning they came down all together playing a game invlvovling dice and the tiles on our floor as they head out to take care of the chickens.
The chickens did receive LOTS of attention - and from what I understand even went through school taught by Eve and Anna

Diane and I managed to pack up lunches and head to the river for an afternoon - even managed to have Blake carrying his fair share =)
Here we are!
Loved how the kiddos paired up - as this was the pair we needed to stay closest too - not always coming up with the best ideas.
These 2 often gravitated to anything involving animals - here they are feeding the ducks.
These 2 were more of the adventure seekers - rafting, headed to the island across the way....
And these 2 were happy to have each other - we had plenty of real life catching up to do while diane intermixed some fun music games to play
You know now we love our Canton concerts - here we are!
Do you think they had a blue ice cream?  I hope so!
We played mini put Friday morning as EARLY as they would let us in - it was going to be HOT HOT HOT - here I am with Team Dolphin - this crew caught onto the competition real quick.
after mini put we took a simple diversion to Holly and Mark's new home and current construction project in Burlington.  When Diane comes out to CT to visit they have so much family out here, its hard to get them to stay up my way (it was the first time she had actually stayed in my guest room)  With Holly and her girls moving out here - I think I have a greater chance of getting her to come my way!  Selfishly VERY excited!
The rest of the afternoon we spent at the BEST place - Oma Sue and Goomba's pool!
Than when Chris joined us, he offered to take the 6 kiddos home and give Diane and I the 'gift of time!'  Where do we go??  No need to hit a wine bar for these too!
Thats right - let go to the JUNK SHOP!
Best partner in crime EVER - and to think we found 2 out of 3 initials right out of the gates.  No need to purchase the 100 pound stones, but we can surely snap a photo
Diane posing on the table Chris and I need to make!
Please know in all our activities, we had to offer up some down time for the kiddos - I found this VERY humorous that this particular moment was watching the Republican Nation Convention with non other than Donald Trump!
Loving the lazy days together.  Thank you to the Wisneski's for spending a portion of your summer with us!  We love just melding into one big family together -
Now to Diane - Next song - 'Cake by the Ocean!'
