Ah the Christmas season The decorations are up and now time to spread the cheer. Its the perfect wheel house for Nick and you can see him mesmerized by the magic of it all. Teresa had these wonderful 'cut-out's' from a previous Christmas party. We were both amazed how intently Nick, Shane and Ben all listened as she dramatized Mrs. Clause, Santa and even Rudolph. This is truly the time to enjoy the magic!
Flour is kinda like snow right?
I was trying desperately to make cut out cookies without the mess. Here I thought the mess would be in the roll-out decorate portion. But when you involve sweet Shane you gotta be ready for anything right? He was a very enthusiastic Kitchen Aid mixer operator. For the second batch of cookies i opted to do the dough solo and roll it out for them.

This photo has got to get some laughs... mostly if you can see the size of the rolling pin. I have a normal size one that i treasure as a gift (and use!!) however using this mini one from my kids Ikea kitchen always makes me laugh. it can surely be used in a pinch =)
cookies were a success and quite yummy!!
