Sunday afternoon at Willowcroft

Now that is truly is spring its time to get out and explore again.  The Teresa and caz have lived in the area for over 6 years so we are so thankful to have such awesome tour guides as buddies.  

Here is the oldest winery in Virginia - Willowcroft -

The barn behind my biking husband Christopher is where the tastings are held (Chris biked the 20 miles while we drove - the final 2 miles were along a gravel road.  Nice forearm massage I suspect!)

Here is Caz setting up the meat and cheese plate - equip with serving space and a plastic knife.  Don't you always forget something when packing for a picnic?

Teresa and I went in for a tasting first while the boys played football.  The Michigan shirts were getting lots of attention from the folks working there.  We met a guy from Michigan and another from Wisconsin.  I tell you, that Big M brings conversation =)  Teresa is big supporter these days and our luck charm during the games. 

we sent the guys in for a tasting and went for a nature hike with the boys.
