They were headed to their Bates 50 year reunion and we managed to get them for a few nights before and after and we all loved it!! Amazing the weekend they were headed to Maine for. All the friends they would see and all the different paths like will take you. Not to mention their own. Heck, Barbara thought she was marrying a Lawyer and than he got drafted..... Life takes turns.
Always thankful for TIME together. Love that they will drive 6 hours and join right in on baseball games and practices, dinner and the daily schedule. Barbara looks at me as if she can hardly imagine how we do it all, but I know for certain she did it all a mere 25-30 years ago. I am reminded, raising kids is for the young!
They are so wonderful to have. Here we are after an afternoon of touring the beautiful canton and highland lake are with plans of luring them to CT a place Barbara has always wanted to come back too. We did a pretty good job - moving is a challenge but worth it!!
